The lip liner/pencil used to be one of the major make-up tools for most of the XXth century. Nowadays, we can still add it to our make-up habits ; we just need to keep always in mind that the lip liner is not supposed to appear and be too visible.
Ideally, the lip liner should always be matching the shade of your lip color or at least, be neutral. Please note that the lip pencil should never be darker than your lip color. Because if your lipstick fades, would you see yourself walking around with only the outline showing ? To apply your lip liner/pencil, you should start lining it on your natural lip line from the center. Preferably, always start from the center of your upper lip through the outer edge. To sharpen your lip pencil, chill it in your fridge for ten minutes first..

Choosing the right lipcolor and lipgloss is essential. Why? Because both of them are long lasting cosmetics and therefore the colors you liked today should still be appreciated in ten months. For women with voluptuous lips, bronze, violette and purples are the best. They allow more freedom in terms of balancing the make-up on both the top part of the face and the bottom one. Glitter lipcolors and lipglosses should be used for evenings ideally. Alipcolor/lipgloss should always match with the blush.
